My name is Emel Hajjem (my pronounce are she/her). I worked as a software engineer for over a decade. I had the chance to work on very impactful projects within Whatsapp calling team to help users connect with their family, friends and favorite businesses . Before joining Meta, I worked for Synopsys on Hardware verification tools for 7 years. My domain of expertise is mostly backend infrastructure, distributed system, EDA, networking and a little of security. My favorite langages are C++ and python. To grow as an engineer it is important to have the skill of managing projects and influence others, which led into getting the PMP certification.
