Gal Chen

Hey, I’m Gal.

I bring over 12 years of experience in data analytics, including several years leading teams and managing projects. My career began in journalism, and I transitioned into tech by teaching myself the technical skills I needed along the way.

I’ve built data teams and infrastructure from the ground up, often in fast-paced startup environments where flexibility, creativity, and resourcefulness were key. I don’t take resources for granted, I believe there’s always something new to learn, and that our assumptions (especially my own!) should always be questioned and reevaluated.

Today, I work in multidisciplinary environments, approaching technical challenges through a product and user experience lens. I focus on driving impact through data while ensuring integrity, clarity, and accessibility for all stakeholders — from product and development teams to company leadership.

I'm also a mother to a sweet and hectic 4-year-old, and currently expecting my second child, so I deeply understand the challenges of combining work and parenthood.

Over the years, I’ve supported many individuals in shifting or advancing their careers. I’m especially passionate about mentoring women and people from diverse backgrounds — and I’d be happy to contribute wherever I can.
