General Mentoring

I help developers build a solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals with an engineering mindset. As part of my previous mentorship, I supported a mentee in delivering a computer vision project for concrete image classification using ResNet50 and VGG16 in Keras, within the AI Capstone Project with Deep Learning (IBM).
My first mentoring session received positive feedback, confirming the value of reasoning-first guidance.
I also have an academic background in Natural Language Processing from my MSc in Applied Informatics (Intelligent Systems), focused on classical NLP foundations such as text preprocessing, tokenization, feature-based representations, traditional NLP pipelines, and proper evaluation.

This session focuses on fundamentals, correct mental models, and sound engineering decisions. It is not focused on large language models (LLMs), embeddings-based systems, or AI research.
