Julie Clabby

With over 25 years’ experience in business growth and brand development, I specialise in helping founders scale through strategic marketing and franchising. As a franchisor and franchise growth consultant, I’ve built national networks, launched new ventures and supported business owners to grow with clarity, confidence and commercial success.

My career began in 1999 in corporate sales for premium membership-based businesses, where I learned the value of community, service and customer experience. By 2006, I had launched my own consultancy, supporting clients with business launches, marketing campaigns and operational development.

In 2011, while on maternity leave, I founded The Busylizzy Club—a family-focused brand supporting new parents through fitness, baby classes and community events. What started as a local club grew into a national franchise, now operated by a talented team of franchise owners across the UK and abroad. Each week, over 11,000 in-person experiences are delivered by more than 3,000 instructors.

In 2023, I co-founded Familia, a boutique consultancy helping clients scale through franchising and licensing. We combine hands-on commercial insight with real-world franchisor experience to support sustainable, successful growth.

Through Julie Clabby Consulting, launched in 2024, I work one-to-one with female founders on their journey into business ownership—helping them shape ideas, stay accountable and grow with confidence.
