Leonardo Mottareale

Hi, I’m Leonardo, an Associate Consultant at Strategy& (PwC), where I work on strategy and deals-related projects.

I graduated from the University of Warwick and built my experience through four highly competitive internships across M&A, Private Equity, Investment Banking, and at the Central Bank of Ireland. Alongside this, I achieved the second highest results nationally in my A level equivalents out of over 60,000 students.

I also led the Warwick branch of 180 Degrees Consulting, the world’s largest student consultancy, and scaled it to become the number one ranked branch globally out of more than 200 universities.

Through this journey, I have successfully navigated some of the most competitive recruitment processes in consulting and finance and understand exactly what top firms are looking for today.

I support students aiming to break into consulting and finance, including Strategy&, MBB, Big 4, investment banking, and private equity. My mentoring focuses on CV and cover letter optimisation, application strategy, case and technical interview preparation, and building a compelling personal story.

My approach is practical and results focused. I focus on the specific tactics and positioning that actually lead to offers rather than generic advice.
