Monika Matuszewska is the founder of LaMatu, a coaching practice in Amsterdam, dedicated to helping female leaders in tech unlock their full potential. With over 22 years of professional experience, Monika combines a 16-year international corporate career with her work as a certified coach. Her background includes leading complex projects and collaborating with multicultural teams across borders, giving her a deep understanding of personal leadership in high-pressure settings.

LaMatu is a career coaching and mentoring practice based in Amsterdam, operating across the European Union with a mission to empower international professionals to design fulfilling, value-driven careers. Since its founding in 2022, LaMatu has supported clients from over 80 different nationalities, guiding both individuals and organisations through career transitions, leadership development, and intercultural collaboration.

All of her coaching engagements, keynotes and training sessions bring together multiple perspectives, professional backgrounds, and cultural contexts, reflecting the richness of today’s European workforce. LaMatu contributes to greater inclusion by helping people thrive professionally regardless of their native language, cultural background, or country of origin.

Monika's own journey as an expat and a female professional working in tech has shaped LaMatu’s deep understanding of the challenges faced by people building careers abroad. She is affiliated with several well-established coaching and personal development institutions and holds professional certifications in career, mindset and lifestyle coaching.

Monika is actively involved in international mentoring programmes. In 2025 LaMatu was recognised as a Role Model by Equals for her contribution to empowering women to advance their careers in technology, entrepreneurship and leadership roles. Later that year LaMatu has been awarded the title of "Best Career Mentor for Women in Tech" by Corporate Vision.
