New Engineering Leader

Are you just stepping into an engineering manager or lead role and feeling lost, or maybe you’ve just stepped into a manager-of-managers role for the first time? Then this session is for you.

The steps:

1. Introduction and Goal Definition: In the first step, we will define how we will work together, understand the problem you’re facing, and set goals to guide the rest of the process.

2. Understanding Your Purpose: Knowing what you’re on this planet to do might sound grandiose, but it’s important to know what you really want to achieve. Are you trying to change the world, or set yourself or your family up for financial freedom as soon as possible? We will dig into what really drives you and where you want to go.

3. Defining Your Leadership Manifesto: We’ll have a good handle on who you are at this point. Now it’s time to understand how you influence others and what you care about in terms of leadership.

4. Action Plan: Based on the previous steps, we will outline how you will achieve the goals defined in the first session.
