Pieter Dekker

In the many year that I have worked for international (tech) companies I have managed to gain beautiful experiences. However I have to admit that I would have loved some help and advice once in a while. I have lead teams as small as 5 and as big as 130+ people with all kinds of skills, backgrounds and ideas. Now that I have this experience I would love to give back and be that person that I have missed when I was building up my career.

My true passion lies with people and because of that I have specialized in leadership. What I have noticed is that connecting with people makes the most difference within a company. They can help you move mountains and achieve the seemingly impossible... as long as you know how to enable that. They say:"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." and being a leader enables you to use this skill and get the most out of people not because they have to but because they want to. It is all about finding their strenghts and their passion in order to get the best out of them. It is about growing the people around you to their fullest potential for their own development and for the greater good of the company. And to me there is no greater satisfaction than to see people grow.
