I'm a journalist, career strategist, and former program manager for the JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) venture capital initiatives in East and Southern Africa.
After graduating from Fordham University (B.A. Communications & Creative Writing) and earning a master’s in International Management (SOAS, University of London, magna cum laude), I began reporting for Al Jazeera English, Fodor's Travel, and Face2Face Africa. I’ve been a speaker for TEDx, Columbia Business School, Boston College, and Startup Week San Diego. I've spent years focused on microeconomics, leadership, and developments across the African diaspora.
In our 1:1 sessions, we can work on one or all three of the following:
- Interview preparation — behavioral and technical questions tailored to your specific career niche, so you walk into any room knowing exactly what to say and why.
- Freelancer portfolio strategy — how to position your work to attract remote and work-from-anywhere clients.
- Digital product design — how to package your professional expertise into a product that earns passive income, whether that's a course, a guide, a template, or a resource library.
I've been in the rooms where the decisions get made, and I've coached professionals who weren't getting called back, weren't converting interviews into offers, and weren't sure how to translate years of experience into something a global client would pay for. We build the strategy together, grounded in what the data actually shows about what works.
