As a passionate advocate for education, technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership, I have cultivated a diverse range of interests and experiences that drive my professional journey. My expertise in technology spans various domains, including Cloud-native development, Event-Based Reactive Architectures, and Real-Time Event-Processing. I have applied these skills in industries such as e-commerce, marketing automation, logistics, shipping, and telecommunications. My commitment to sharing knowledge is evident through my presentations, lectures, and conference talks, where I engage audiences with my enthusiasm for technology. I earned my PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in July 2015 for my research on Model-based Testing of Dynamic Component Systems, and I currently hold a professorship in Software Engineering at BHT Berlin, a position I stepped into in March 2022.

My journey in entrepreneurship and leadership has been equally rewarding. Since 2018, I have served as an executive board member at Ingenious Technologies AG, a leading SaaS platform for Partner Marketing. In this role, I spearhead technology and business innovation, having transitioned from CTO to executive board member, where I focus on growing Ingenious’ business alongside an exceptional team. Prior to this, I was the founder and CEO of Qyotta GmbH, which became part of the Ingenious Technologies Group in 2016. At Qyotta, I led the development of cloud-native SaaS platforms and built a talented team dedicated to Full-Stack and SRE practices.

Currently, I am deeply engaged with coding agents like Claude Code, which has sparked my interest in transforming software engineering education, particularly in the realm of AI. I believe that by integrating advanced tools and methodologies into the educational landscape, we can foster a new generation of innovators and leaders who are well-prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and sharing insights that can help shape the future of technology and education.
