Hi, I'm Yaron. Twenty years ago I thought being a good engineer was enough. Two decades later, after teams at Meta and others, I know the real leverage is helping people do their best work: through honest feedback, through kindness, through clear expectations.
I specialize in one thing that's easy to say and hard to do: building teams that are high-performing and humane. Teams that ship, and that people don't want to leave. Most of the managers I work with know what needs to change — a tough feedback conversation, a hiring bar, a broken 1:1 rhythm — they just need a thinking partner to help them actually do it.
How I coach
- Continuous, specific feedback — the single practice that changes everything else.
- Hiring and retention — how to spot potential, what to ask in interviews, how to keep the best people once you have them.
- Team health — from cohesion and psychological safety to dealing with conflict when it finally surfaces.
- Agile, pragmatically — with many years as a Scrum Master behind me, I've rolled out Scrum at multiple orgs, but I care more about outcomes than ceremonies.
- Leading through kindness — which is not the same as being nice. It's being honest because you care, not in spite of it.
Who I work best with
- New or aspiring EMs making the IC-to-manager leap.
- Mid-level EMs navigating the shift from "manager of ICs" to "leader of systems."
- Senior EMs and Directors scaling teams or dealing with hard people decisions.
Before you book: come with a specific situation, not a general question. I'll push you to turn an insight into an action before we hang up.
Sessions in English or Hebrew.
