Interview Performance Coach Here2Coach

Hi, I am Aleksandra.

I am based in Ireland and my biggest professional passion is helping people secure dream opportunities. My speciality is interview coaching and main area of expertise is technology.

I discovered the joy of helping people land jobs back in 2006, when I joined PayPal Recruitment team. After a number of years with PayPal (and a once-in-a-lifetime solo trip around South East Asia) I moved on to recruit for Google, and finally LinkedIn – an absolute highlight of my career!

Partnering with exceptional, inspirational Leaders gave me opportunity to learn tonnes in terms of what drives their teams’ success and what enhances the organization’s culture.

I now work with clients mainly on a 1 to 1 basis helping them find their comfortable style to demonstrate key skills and achievements.

A huge LinkedIn fan, who experienced the power of the network on both sides – as a candidate and Talent hunter!

My Mentoring Topics

  • Interview skills
  • Story-telling
  • LinkedIn Profile optimization
  • CV review and advice

Hi Aleksandra!

From the moment we interacted, and the feedback you were able to provide for me - I found that absolutely incredible and being honest with you, no one's done that for me until this point! For me, it was really eye-opening as well to hear your insights about me from the perspective of a recruiter. I am so glad that I booked a session with you - and even after the session, it's been incredible to get thinking about all the things we spoke of and apply into my life going forward. The open attitude towards helping someone - which you did for me, and thank you so much again for the resources you recommended! - I am so grateful for that. Thank you for helping me develop a few things and nudging me towards their development - I really needed that at this moment! You're one of the best people I have had the opportunity to encounter, and I'll be in touch! One of the standouts for me in our session was hearing more about how I could further develop my 'story-telling' abilities! Indeed, an invaluable conversation to have had with you - with a lot of things to implement and go after. Oh and, lastly, thank you so much for the positive reinforcement throughout the interaction !

I really enjoyed Aleksandra's perspective and learning from her experience. Regarding CV and LinkedIn presense, I learned the importance of using the headline and summary to fully present all my strenghts and successes, as well as how to effectively use keywords. Aleksandra had valuable insights on how to ask the right questions during an interview to get to know the company and also gave me personal feedback on my profile. Thank you so much.

Four Thousand Weeks - Embrace Your Limits. Change Your Life
Oliver Burkeman

"The average human lifespan is absurdly, outrageously, insultingly brief: if you live to 80, you have about four thousand weeks on earth. How should we use them best? Of course, nobody needs telling that there isn't enough time. We're obsessed by our lengthening to-do lists, our overfilled inboxes, the struggle against distraction, and the sense that our attention spans are shrivelling. Yet we rarely make the conscious connection that these problems only trouble us in the first place thanks to the ultimate time-management problem: the challenge of how best to use our four thousand weeks. Four Thousand Weeks is an uplifting, engrossing and deeply realistic exploration of this problem that draws on philosophy, literature and psychology to cover the past, present and future of our battles with time. It goes far beyond practical tips, and its many revelations will transform the reader's worldview. Drawing on the insights of ancient philosophers, Benedictine monks, artists and authors, Scandinavian social reformers, renegade Buddhist technologists and many others, Oliver Burkeman sets out to realign our relationship with time - and in doing so, to liberate us from its grasp"--Publisher's description.

Atlas of the Heart - Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience
Brené Brown

In her latest book, five-time #1 New York Times bestselling author Dr Brené Brown, writes, "If we want to find the way back to ourselves and each other, we need language and the grounded confidence to both tell our stories, and to be stewards of the stories that we hear. This is the framework for meaningful connection." In Atlas of the Heart, Brown takes us on a journey through 87 of the emotions and experiences that define what it means to be human. As she maps the necessary skills and lays out an actionable framework for meaningful connection, she gives us the language and tools to access a universe of new choices and second chances - a universe where we can share and steward the stories of our bravest and most heart-breaking moments with one another in a way that builds connection. Over the past two decades, Brown's extensive research into the experiences that make us who we are has shaped the cultural conversation and helped define what it means to be courageous with our lives. Atlas of the Heart draws on this research, as well as Brown's singular skills as a researcher/storyteller, to lay out an invaluable, research-based framework that shows us that naming an experience doesn't give the experience more power, it gives us the power of understanding, meaning and choice. Brown shares, "I want this to be an atlas for all of us, because I believe that, with an adventurous heart and the right maps, we can travel anywhere and never fear losing ourselves. Even when we have no idea where we are."

Start With Why - How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone To Take Action
Simon Sinek

Simon Sinek's recent video on 'The Millennial Question' went viral with over 150 million views. Start with Why is a global bestseller and the TED Talk based on it is the third most watched of all time. Why are some people and organisations more inventive, pioneering and successful than others? And why are they able to repeat their success again and again? In business, it doesn't matter what you do, it matters WHY you do it. Start with Why analyses leaders like Martin Luther King Jr and Steve Jobs and discovers that they all think in the same way - they all started with why. Simon Sinek explains the framework needed for businesses to move past knowing what they do to how they do it, and then to ask the more important question-WHY? Why do we do what we do? Why do we exist? Learning to ask these questions can unlock the secret to inspirational business. Sinek explains what it truly takes to lead and inspire and how anyone can learn how to do it.

Untamed - Stop Pleasing, Start Living: THE NO.1 SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER
Glennon Doyle

'This book will shake your brain and make your soul scream. I am so ready for myself after reading this book!' Adele 'Untamed will liberate women - emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It is phenomenal.' Elizabeth Gilbert, author of City of Girls and Eat Pray Love Who were you before the world told you who to be? Part inspiration, part memoir, Untamed explores the joy and peace we discover when we stop striving to meet the expectations of the world, and instead dare to listen to and trust in the voice deep inside us. From the beloved New York Times bestselling author, speaker and activist Glennon Doyle. ***** For many years, Glennon Doyle denied her discontent. Then, while speaking at a conference, she looked at a woman across the room and fell instantly in love. Three words flooded her mind: There. She. Is. At first, Glennon assumed these words came to her from on high but soon she realised they had come to her from within. This was the voice she had buried beneath decades of numbing addictions and social conditioning. Glennon decided to let go of the world's expectations of her and reclaim her true untamed self. Soulful and uproarious, forceful and tender, Untamed is both an intimate memoir and a galvanising wake-up call. It is the story of how one woman learned that a responsible mother is not one who slowly dies for her children, but one who shows them how to fully live. It is also the story of how each of us can begin to trust ourselves enough to set boundaries, make peace with our bodies, honour our anger and heartbreak, and unleash our truest, wildest instincts. Untamed shows us how to be brave. And, as Glennon insists, 'The braver we are, the luckier we get.'

Grit - The Power of Passion and Perseverance
Angela Duckworth

"In this must-read book for anyone striving to succeed, pioneering psychologist Angela Duckworth shows parents, educators, athletes, students, and business people--both seasoned and new--that the secret to outstanding achievement is not talent but a focused persistence called "grit." Why do some people succeed and others fail? Sharing new insights from her landmark research on grit, MacArthur "genius" Angela Duckworth explains why talent is hardly a guarantor of success. Rather, other factors can be even more crucial such as identifying our passions and following through on our commitments. Drawing on her own powerful story as the daughter of a scientist who frequently bemoaned her lack of smarts, Duckworth describes her winding path through teaching, business consulting, and neuroscience, which led to the hypothesis that what really drives success is not "genius" but a special blend of passion and long-term perseverance. As a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, Duckworth created her own "character lab" and set out to test her theory. Here, she takes readers into the field to visit teachers working in some of the toughest schools, cadets struggling through their first days at West Point, and young finalists in the National Spelling Bee. She also mines fascinating insights from history and shows what can be gleaned from modern experiments in peak performance. Finally, she shares what she's learned from interviewing dozens of high achievers--from JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon to the cartoon editor of The New Yorker to Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll. Winningly personal, insightful, and even life-changing, Grit is a book about what goes through your head when you fall down, and how that--not talent or luck--makes all the difference"--
