My name is Ayush Jain and I am currently working as a Analytics Lead in Berlin. Currently working at a fast paced delivery startup called Wolt and before that have been working for Europe's leading fashion e-commerce called Zalando.

I have 10+ years of experience working in the digital industry and have hands-on knowledge in different analytics pillars such as Web Analytics, Data analytics and Business analytics. I believe analytics is way more than just numbers or mathematics. Analyst's daily routine includes defining problem statements, gathering data, applying appropriate data models, and telling business insights to non-technical stakeholders. Telling stories from data is my bread and butter and I have diverse experience ranging from SQL, R or Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Machine learning, Statistical modelling, Data Visualization and Business Intelligence. The other interest areas include A/B testing, Conversion rate optimization, E-commerce/Marketplace and Business strategy development. Since the Analytics industry is continuously evolving and there is a huge overlap between different roles, you can take my advice on finding the right role for yourself between Data Analyst, Product Analyst, Data Scientist and Business analyst.
