Carlos Hernandez-Vaquero

Carlos is a SW Development Manager leading the Data-Centric Software group at Bosch in Germany. His expertise relies in the areas of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Deep Learning and IoT. He worked previously as Program/Project Manager, Software Product Owner and Software Engineer. During the last few years, he has led the development until market release of 4 Bosch IoT products, several data-centric development activities and over 20 mobile apps with teams distributed around Europe and Asia.

He has externally validated his skills by becoming Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Project Management Professional (PMP). In addition to this, he has obtained 12 technical certifications from AWS, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Long after graduating from University of Oviedo (Spain) and University of Aalborg (Denmark), he recently obtained the Udacity Nano-Degree in Machine Learning with Microsoft Azure and the Udacity Nano-Degree in Cloud Native Application Architecture.

Carlos recently founded and leads the GenAI-Gurus.com community about Generative AI, reaching over 350 members in just few months .Additionally, he also founded the TinyML community in Germany with over 450 members, bringing together AI and IoT experts from industry and academia. He is one of the expert Mentors in the famous Deep Learning Specialization by Prof. Andre Ng and honoured to be AWS Community Builder in the Machine Learning category. He loves to give back to the community by volunteering as Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, Github Campus Expert and mentoring several co-workers with similar interests.
