My career began in sales and sales management in the tech industry. I transitioned into product marketing and then overall corporate marketing roles since I wanted to learn all parts of a company, not just the sales role.

As the companies I was with grew ever larger, I realized my real dream was to be part of something new, either a product or service that created a new category or transformed an existing one. At the time that meant a startup.

I got my chance, to join and run marketing for a small startup that grew from 4 employees to 8,500 worldwide and over a $1 billion run rate. After those 4 1/2 years I've been both an employee and consultant for many B2B and B2C companies. I love working with a team to put a plan together, execute, and achieve goals.
