I recently retired from a great 30-year career at the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Federal agency that manages water in the west. As a technical writer, I helped with project management, but most importantly, I worked to communicate complex concepts (like climate change adaptation, planning, water management options, etc.) to a wide range of conflicting stakeholders. I developed several guidebooks for planning as I worked with many experts.
I am now translating these complex planning concepts (such as Decisionmaking Under Deep Uncertainty) into plain language that people can use in their personal lives and in community activism (see http://selfcareworldcare.wikidot.com/).
I would like to help people with their careers and project management on the ground. And work on effective communication!
I also have a wide body of work with electronic literature. My 1990s Marble Springs is a great grandmother to many works as that inspired communication using links and connections.
