// Mixpanel implementation The Mentoring Club - Heitor Silva

Hi! I'm Heitor (A-tor, to get easy to pronounce). I'm originally from Brazil, but I'm currently living in Berlin, and I've been working with IT since 2005, and as a software engineer since 2009. I had the chance to work with different kinds and sizes of businesses, as well as having my own nano-company, and being a parter in another small one. I love technology, music and sharing experiences with people. I define myself as a Full-stack Engineer, because I transitioned between Backend, Frontend and DevOps throughout my career. Also, because of some trainings I had, I'm skilled on the human side of things, knowing some communication techniques, and management techniques, to act inside an agile tech team.

Through the years I delve into some side-projects too, like my personal blog and the podcast I record with two other friends.

Besides the professional geeky stuff above, I also enjoy playing video games, watching movies, series, animes and most of all, going to concerts and festivals. Before coming to Germany, I participated on some bands, recorded some songs and played some shows... something I really recommend anyone to do. My favorite kind of music is metal, but I have my own guilty pleasures too. Since January of 2020, I'm doing a Music Production college, and I have some plans on my own to have a second career on the side.

Feel free to reach out! I'm always open to chat and give some support.

Heitor was really considerate and thoughtful, and showed a sincere desire to offer advice appropriate for my particular situation. He knows the art of listening. I can't thank him enough for tips he provided me. I'm definitely looking for another session with him very soon! Highly recommended!
