Marco Ziccardi

As the Director of Engineering for IAM and Data Encryption at Doctolib, I oversee the development and delivery of secure and scalable solutions that enable millions of patients and healthcare professionals to access online healthcare services across Europe. With over 16 years of experience in the software industry, I have a proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams, applying agile methodologies, and solving complex technical and organisational challenges.

I am passionate about learning, adapting, and evolving as a leader and engineer, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others through various mentoring and coaching platforms, such as Plato and Mentoring Club. I also co-hosted SpaghettiCode, a podcast where I discussed topics related to engineering management, remote work, and diversity and inclusion in tech. My mission is to build and lead teams that use technology for commercial and social impact, and to create a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
