Martin is managing director of TROUT GmbH, a multi award-winning research and development company based in Kassel / Germany. Martin received a degree in Physics from the Technical University in Munich and started work as a software engineer. He has a Blue Chip corporate background, having worked for companies including T-Systems International GmbH and Rheinmetall AG. During this time Martin led a variety of projects, developing and implementing software and hardware. At T-Systems, a business unit of Deutsche Telekom AG, he was part of the local management team, gaining extensive knowledge and know-how in management and business development. In 2004 he founded TROUT GmbH in co-operation with a partner. Since then he has moved into the field of medical and automotive systems. TROUT has developed a new technology to classify and process data with the help of various methods in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Privately, Martin is passionate about endurance sports and traditional strategic board games from Southeast Asia like Go, Shogi, Xiangqi and Makruk.
