A renowned cybersecurity, software, and hardware engineering specialist, Matthew Hall leads Innovation at Resilience Insurance, focusing on technology and product innovation, to help customers solve once impossible problems. Hall supports Resilience's Insurance and Technology teams with POCs, product ideation, rapid prototyping, business and financial process definition and implementation, as well as cybersecurity risk engineering. Prior to joining Resilience, Matthew worked at HP Networking, Yahoo!, Spirent, Cisco, and several cybersecurity startups including Mu Dynamics (acquired by Spirent), Morta Security (acquired by Palo Alto Networks), and Anomali. He served as a core engineer and security services architect for Anomali’s widely-used cyber intelligence collection and sharing platform, developing cyber intelligence data collection abilities and data integrations to a large number of major security devices and software systems. Hall holds several U.S. and international patents for his work in cybersecurity, and low-level systems and network programming. Matthew has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, US.
