As a UX designer and a successful physicist in my last career, making the change was scary and out of reach. making the big decision was so drastic that it scared me and I did not want to do it. it took a lot of courage to press the submit button and of course lots of mentoring and consultation. but when I did it, a whole new world appeared and I am the happiest person because of my decision.
