An ambitious, digital savvy and tech fluent Software Professional, with ~13 years global experience in Performance Engineering from industry leading companies. I am very excited to meet, help and learn from as many people as possible, so please do not hesitate to reach out for a chat. “At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished… it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. I had a wonderful opportunity to connect with Rameshwar on how to prepare for System design interviews when one applies for Engineering Manager roles. I really liked the kind of questions Rameshwar asked to firstly get to a holistic perspective of my background and related past experience, and then check if I had the clarity of what entails as part of one's role as engineering manager before he actually went into topics specific to how could one better prepare for system design interviews as an EM role applicant. He brought in some valuable perspectives in the context of how to factor in things like time, priorities, across how many locations should this solution be made ready etc., when going into a client meeting as an EM and how should one ask relevant tech questions accordingly from a system design perspective. He emphasized that the q's one asks in system design interviews is context dependent. Overall, all these inputs gave me more clarity on how I could better prepare for these interviews and also helped me fill in the gaps in terms of my existing knowledge towards preparing for system design interviews. I found Rameshwar to be quite friendly, down to earth and approachable and would definitely recommend connecting with him for a mentorship session if you have relevant topics in mind that are aligned with his areas of expertise/experience.
