Who you are today is a result of the journey you took to get there. As a kid, I loved to be around colours and paint the world according to my imagination. I was also very tech-savvy and opened nearly every CPU available at the time to understand how video games worked. In light of my passion towards technology, my father suggested I become an engineer. However, as I began my career in engineering, my inner artist kept striking my nerves. Thus, I thought I would do an internship in several fields to see what is best while I did eight internships in various fields. As a coding nerd, I learned that creativity is my strongest asset. This insight came to me during my last internship, which was solely focused on project design and marketing. Marketing captured my attention and that is how I began my career with a small marketing agency. In the later stages, I became an entrepreneur in the woman accessories industry, designing premium jhumkas with a brand name “Jhumkewala”. In spite of a lot of failures that eventually led to success, my business had to be closed. So, next move was what to do? After working on my venture for a while, I realized I needed in-depth knowledge of the industry first, so gradually enrolled myself in an MBA program that opened up my doors to corporates. In the beginning, I interned at PepsiCo. I carried out on-site research on a variety of parameters and discovered how good I could be when it came to marketing. Every week, I began to post my learnings on LinkedIn and gradually saw people engaging and loving it. A couple of freelancing projects followed, before moving to Hindustan Times, where I was quickly promoted to the core inbound marketing team under one of the CEOs. After doing some amazing projects, I'm currently working with Whatfix, a SaaS organisation, and trying to normalize the extraordinary with some amazing lead generation activities.
