National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is an umbrella organization for operating retail payments and settlement systems in India, established by the Reserve Bank of India and Indian Banks’ Association. It develops and manages payment infrastructure such as UPI, IMPS, RuPay, and other digital payment solutions.
