When your mentor shares a resource with you, it appears in your "From My Mentors" collection with their personalized notes and context.

How to Add a Resource

Go to Your Bookshelf
Click "My Resources" in your mentor dashboard

Add New Resource
Click "+ Add Resource" and provide:
- • Title and description
- • URL or file upload
- • Category and skill level
- • Your personal notes (optional)

Share with Mentees
Select specific mentees or make it available to all your mentees
Pro Tip: Create Learning Paths
Organize resources into sequential learning paths (e.g., "React Fundamentals to Advanced"). Mentees can follow the path step-by-step and track their progress.

Create Collections
Group related resources into collections:
Save for Later
Bookmark resources to your personal "Saved" collection to review when you have time.
Track Progress
Mark resources as "In Progress" or "Completed" to track your learning journey.
Best Practices
Add Context
Include a note explaining why you're recommending this resource and how it relates to the mentee's goals
Quality Over Quantity
Curate carefully. A few highly relevant resources are better than overwhelming mentees with dozens
Update Regularly
Remove outdated resources and add new ones as the industry evolves
Specify Time Commitment
Let mentees know if a resource takes 10 minutes or 10 hours to complete
Follow Up
