Full 60-minute mentoring session

About This Offer

This 60-minute mentoring session provides focused, one-to-one support for individuals who are planning, registering, or operating a children’s home and require structured, informed guidance.

The session is practical, tailored, and grounded in the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted’s SCCIF framework. It is designed to help you make informed decisions, avoid common regulatory pitfalls, and progress with clarity and confidence.

Each session is led by your specific needs and stage of development. Prior to the session, you will be asked to outline your key focus areas to ensure the time is used effectively.

Sessions may cover:
• Ofsted registration strategy and readiness
• provider, Responsible Individual, and Registered Manager roles and expectations
• regulatory documentation and statements of purpose
• safeguarding and quality of care considerations
• location suitability and risk assessment discussions
• leadership structure, governance, and compliance systems
• navigating Ofsted communication and inspection expectations
• problem-solving stalled progress or regulatory uncertainty
This is not a generic advice call. The session is interactive, reflective, and action-focused, with space to ask questions, test assumptions, and explore realistic options.

By the end of the session, you can expect:
• clear guidance relevant to your situation
• prioritised next steps
• increased confidence in regulatory decision-making
• a stronger understanding of what is required to move forward compliantly

Where appropriate, follow-up mentoring sessions or structured support can be discussed, but there is no obligation to continue beyond the session.
