Hellio! I've been writing software professionally for over 20 years. I co-wrote one of the first books on Django, which has been the focus of most of my work for the past 15 years. I've worked on many 100KLOC+ Python codebases, including non-Django systems based on AWS Lambda. I'm interested in working with software engineers who want to know how to do their work better, more enjoyably, and with less stress. I've worked for small startups, giant corporations, and educational institutions. I haven't seen everything, but I think the breadth of my experience can help me mentor people in a variety of settings. I've also done a lot of writing and teaching professionally, and I see mentoring as a continuation of that thread. I enjoy sharing what I know and helping people level-up.
