I have worked in VC backed, consumer facing startups for 10 years, helping them scale their operations during the rapid growth phase. I currently work at Fy where my job is design and build the people operations to execute against our aggressive growth plans. I've worked in some of the most challenging professional environments out there, and had my fair share of mistakes as well as successes. I've navigated my own career options and moved from engineering, to professional services to startups. I want to work with other people who are facing tough decisions in their career and challenging work environments and help them navigate these and become the best version of themselves. Key experiences: Leadership: - I have been a member of the senior leadership team at Common and Fy, member of operational leadership team at onefinestay. - Have built and developed teams across customer service, account management, brand onboarding, housekeeping, and logistics. Strategic partnerships: - Developing distribution partnerships with Booking.com, HomeAway and Tripadvisor to help onefinestay unlock new marketing channels. - Utilised the Academy Service Group to deliver nationwide cleaning and maintenance while at Common to allow us to open new locations more rapidly and without needing to hire a team. - At Fy built relationships with FedEx, APG, DPD, DHL to build out the carrier network at Fy as well as outsourcing partnerships with 1100 Smiles (Greece, Customer Service) and Cennos (Vietnam, BPO) to support rapid scaling of our operation. Operational growth: - I have scaled operating teams at onefinestay in London before going on to launch new products in adjacent markets. - I built the property services team from the ground up at Common; launching 9 new homes across 4 markets. - Took the Fy operation from 1 to 16 FTEs, built Customer Support, Brand Onboarding and Finance Function from zero, positioned team for growth.
